how long does it take to get my bake?

Each item prepared by Andrea Maranville at Silver City Baking Company is hand crafted in small batches using quality ingredients and with great care and attention to every bake we make. Due to customized and hand crafted nature of our baking we request an order to be placed at least 48 hours before an item is expected to be shipped.   Once an item is shipped by the carrier it is expected that you will receive your item in aproximatly 2-3 business days. 

We ship Monday - Friday.



HOW LONG WILL MY BAKE STAY FRESH AFTER DELIVERY?

 Your item will stay fresh and enjoyed in room temperature environment (properly stored) for up to 5 days after arrival. 

If you are planning to enjoy your bake longer than 2 days from receiving your bake, you should promptly freeze your item in its original package and then wrapped in tinfoil.  You can defrost IN the packaging at room temperature until fully defrosted.  

Cookies and biscotti will last up to 7 days after arrival, stored at room temperature in a sealed container if properly stored. Muffins containing fruit should be eaten with 2 days after arrival.



SHIPPING POLICY INFORMATION - BORING BUT IMPORTANT

Silver City Baking Company takes great pride in producing the best quality bakes.  While shipping provides for great opportunity to send our bake to you to enjoy in your home, there are factors that are outside of our control once the package leaves our care and is in transit with the carrier.  Weather, delays, care of the package by others are factors that we can not control. We hope that the package gets to you in the condition it leaves our bakery however, we do not guarantee a shipping or arrival date, or condition of the package once you receive it (within reason). 

Please note that if you have a specific event date that you are serving your item please place your order with enough notice so we can ship early enough and we recommend that you connect directly with Andrea before placing your order.  Silver City Baking Company is not responsible for delays in transit due to factors outside our control once the package leaves our bakery. 

The customer is responsible for tracking your package to anticipate expected arrival date.  The carrier is responsible for delivery times so we are unable to guarantee a specific time of delivery so please be aware of expected delivery date so your product does not sit out in extreme weather conditions or for any length of time.  Additionally, we can not control the location that a carrier leaves your package.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the correct shipping address is provided before submitting an order as well as in their confirmation email. Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email.  If you need to modify your delivery location after it has shipped a $20 address change will be incurred and delivery date will be changed as well. 

Silver City Baking Company is currently only shipping within the continental United States and we are unable to make to PO Boxes at this time.  Once an order has been shipped Silver City Baking Company does not accept returns, refunds or cancellations.
